Mainely Fades Barbershop first opened on June 30th, 2020. The building they moved into was a newly renovated space on Center Street in Bangor.
Despite the challenges of opening in the midst of a pandemic, Mainely Fades quickly made a name for themselves, growing clientele steadily through the past 3 years, and winning such accolades as “Bangor’s Best Barbershop” several years in a row.
But they’ll soon be making a significant change in location.
According to the Mainely Fades Barbershop Facebook Page:
“Although, our space inside is everything I could ask for the continued and unfortunate events of Center Street in Bangor itself has driven myself to seek an alternative business space. The safety of my staff, clientele and myself is first and foremost. We understand that our relocation may be an inconvenience to some clients, but we truly hope that you understand.”
The shop will close down its Center Street location in Bangor on August 31st and reopen in its new location in Holden next month.
Their new set-up will be 107 Main Rd. in Holden, adjacent to the Black Fly Coffee shop. The post says the opening day in their new digs will be September 5th.
